Privacy Policy

Summary

Spaninsight is a privacy-first platform. Your data files (CSV, Excel, JSON) are processed entirely on your device. We do not upload, store, or have access to your data.

What We Process Locally

• All data files you import are parsed and analyzed on your device
• Charts and visualizations are rendered locally using Python (pandas, matplotlib)
• AI-generated code executes in a sandboxed environment with no network or filesystem access

What Touches the Cloud

• AI prompts only — when you ask a question, only the text prompt and a column summary are sent to the AI gateway. Raw data is never transmitted.
• Form responses — if you create a survey, respondent answers are stored in our database (Cloudflare D1) linked to the form ID.
• Shared reports — if you choose to share a report, the rendered PDF/PPTX is uploaded to temporary cloud storage (Cloudflare R2) and automatically deleted after 30 days.

Data Storage

• Your UUID identity is stored locally in encrypted storage (AES-256 via platform keychain/keystore)
• No account or email is required
• Survey form schemas and responses are stored in Cloudflare D1 (EU region)
• Shared reports are stored in Cloudflare R2 with a 30-day automatic deletion lifecycle

Third-Party Services

• AI Inference — Groq and NVIDIA NIM for language model inference. Prompts are processed and not stored beyond the request lifecycle.
• Ads — Google AdMob (mobile only) for optional interstitial ads. Subject to Google's privacy policy.

Your Rights

You can clear all local data at any time from Settings → Clear Data. To delete your survey forms and responses, delete them individually from the Forms tab. Since we don't have your email or identity, there is no account to delete.
